Strands the Connections Game
The New York Times has introduced its latest game, Strands the Connections Game, joining the ranks of renowned puzzles like Connections, Spelling Bee, and Wordle. Known for their challenging word games, the paper has a rich history of publishing iconic crosswords since 1942. Strands features a compact six-by-eight grid of letters, resembling a mini word search. Players can select words by swiping across the letters or individually tapping each letter. Unlike typical word searches, Strands doesn't provide a word bank, making every letter on the grid a part of a word. Adding to the challenge, words can weave in various directions – up, down, left, right, or diagonally – offering a unique twist to the traditional word search experience.
